Cranberry Apple Waffle Dumplings
My boys love to eat waffles! When I don’t have time to make homemade, I pop Eggo Waffles in the toaster for their breakfast. And Hey, did you know...Eggo Waffles also make great desserts, like these Cranberry Apple Waffle Dumplings! A tiny bit of tartness, here and there, from the cranberries and apples that are mingled with spice infused sugary, syrupy, sticky greatness! YES! Oh, did I mention I entered this delicious recipe in The Great Eggo Waffle Off? Here is the link to my Cranberry Apple Waffle Dumplings

Homemade Butterfingers
Why. Oh, Why? Did it take so long for me to run across this recipe? Really?! Why?! I always buy candy corn around Halloween except that one year I couldn't find any. WAIT! Now I know why! Y'all were hoarding the candy corn, weren't you?! Well, this year, watch out...I'll be the hoarder! ~Smile and snicker as I take another bite of Homemade Butterfingers!~

Hmmmmm, I can't think of anything, can you? Although I didn't make it ahead of time, I think you could easily make this the night before and pop in the oven for a busy morning breakfast! Crock Pot Pork and White Bean Stew
My hubby, before we were married, made this wonderful meal for me the first time we ate together. Yes, he cooked for me first. ~smile~ He cooked it as a casserole (in the oven) and Oh. My. Goodness!!! If I wasn't hooked already...I was then. This still brings warm memories and smiles to my heart each time I make it.

Giving Thanks for Giving .. #CookingPlanIt Let's Your Hero Shine
Holidays seem to bring out the best in people. Sharing and caring. Helping others. Collecting food, clothes, presents for those that need a little extra. A person that goes that extra mile? Gives unconditionally? An angel that is always caring for the person down the street, around the corner or a friend of a friend? Volunteers more hours than he/she is at home? Someone that is always the first to step up and out to help a neighbor and/or the community? An unsung hero that never asks for anything in return, gets pleasure in helping and keeps the holiday spirit of love, caring, giving and sharing alive year round? Did a face flash in your mind as you were reading? A simple nod, know just that person? If so, now is the time to honor them. This is your chance to honor those that give. As a Cooking Planit Partner (remember the fantastic T-Fal giveaway?!), I am thrilled to be able to offer you an opportunity to let your hidden hero shine.

Chocolate Pudding Cake
An old recipe passed down and around from generation to generation. Old classics, from our parents and grandparents, are the ones that are dear to my heart. Tried and true, they are truly amazing. Withstanding the test of time to be made over and over and over, again. Just reading an old recipe can make my heart smile with sweet and loving memories of years gone by. ~heartfelt smile~

Crock Pot Sweet Potatoes
If you are like me, you need an extra oven to bake your holidays dishes. I recently decided to cook sweet potatoes in the crock pot, since my oven was occupied with a pork roast, I was very pleased with the results. They turned out perfect!

Apple Cider Bubble Bread
I love using frozen bread dough to make appetizers, snacks, desserts and even meals! Rhodes Brown-N-Serve White Dinner Rolls is the only one I use. Don't you just love using them? So convenient to use, the aroma and taste! LOVE! I wanted to make something for my boys and put half a bag of rolls. in a pan, in the refrigerator to thaw while I went shopping. I returned home with a new apple cider caramel drink mix, by Alpine. Have you tried this? It is so good! My thoughts then turned to the dough in the fridge. I knew what I would make...Apple Cider Bubble Bread!
(This is not a sponsored post..I just love this drink mix and rolls!)
